Created by Iyzik, ULG Tool (Ultra Low Graphics) is a free Skyrim mod for reducing the game’s graphics settings to Ultra Low, optimizing the performance of low-end computers — making the action title more enjoyable to play. Make sure that Java is installed before installing this mod.
Frame rate improvement
ULG Tool (Ultra Low Graphics) is great for performance optimization, as it applies the Ultra Low option in Skyrim’s graphical settings to boost frame rates. To install, extract the zip file and execute the .jar file. If asked to select a program, open it using Java.
If the mod fails to detect paths, you’ll need to manually set them by heading to Files > Setup Config Paths. After saving a custom path, you can now click the “Skyrim” and “Apply Ultra Low Graphics” options. Apart from Skyrim, the tool also supports Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4.
Enjoy the game on an older device
Though ULG Tool (Ultra Low Graphics) reduces Skyrim’s graphics quality, it makes up for its ability to optimize the performance of low-end computers — leading to a slight improvement in frame rates. However, you may need to manually assign a path due to path detection failure.
